Sidste år blev der snakket i krogene om hvad Verka egentlig sang. Var det “Lasha tumbai” eller “Russia goodbye”. Det lyder jo ens. I år blev der ikke snakket i krogene. Men der blev (måske) kysset i krogene (se billedet nedenfor) . Måske er det bare en del af Dima Bilans “coming out”. Når jeg lytter til teksten til årets vindersang, så hører jeg Dima Bilan synge

Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması 2008  galibi Dima Bilan, Güney Kıbrıs Rum Kesimi’nin Limasol kentin’de 22 kasım’da gerçekleştirilecek  Junior Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması’nda sahne alacak. The Belorussian broadcaster has announced the rules applying to the next year’s preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. A four-phase project starts on 5th October with an open call for participations for Eurofest 2009.
Headed by Aleksandr Tihanovich, a superstar of Belarusian pop-music, producer and People’s artist of Belarus the fourth edition of Eurofest will be a four-phase project open to all performers, permanent residents of the country. Songwriters, on the other hand can be foreigners as well. Song submission starts on 5th October until 20 November.

İsveç televizyonu SVT’nin yaptığı açıklamada göre isveç ulusal finali (Melodifestivalen 2009) için 3440 şarkı başvurusunda bulunuldu.
SVT televizyonunun verdiği şarkı seçimi ilanından sonra aday şarkıların 3440 olduğu açıklandı. SVT televizyonu: “Geçen yıl da 3434 şarkı aday olmuştu. Dima Bilan, the Russian representative and the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 takes part in a show called Stars on ice, where he will be ice-skating with the Olympic champion Elena Berezhnaya.
