Influential, inspiring and in the news – an exclusive global poll by our international editions and websites

With 12 million readers around the world in 100 different countries, your favourite celebrity magazine is uniquely placed to bring you a global poll about the people who matter. Editorial experts from each of our 13 glossy editions (UK, Spain, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, UAE, Greece, Thailand, Canada, Malaysia, India, Serbia and Ukraine) and the websites have created a list of some 100 of the most inspiring and influential people of today.

In January, each editorial team drew up a list of 15 names, marking them on a sliding scale from 15 points to one. The results were then added together to give the final places.

They come from all walks of life: royals and politicians, actors and models, sports stars and artists – all people our readers want to follow. Some of the names, of course, have made for record-breaking sales: think Angelina and Brad’s rainbow family – with the twins shown off exclusively in HELLO! – or the new US President and his wife.

Others have a lower profile but still intrigue with their determination to make their mark or overcome turmoil in their private lives. And given that this is a global vote, there are plenty of surprises…
