Malta will continue its search for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest tonight with the eighth and last semi final being held. Another seven acts will compete to be one of the 20 acts which are going to reach in the national final. The qualifiers for the national final will also be revealed in the show.

Armenian national broadcaster announced its plans to have a national final on February 14th. There are no information on how many entries will be in the show, but the winner will be selected through televoting and jury. Sirusho achieved a remarkable position for Armenia in 2008 Belgrade Eurovision edition ranked 4th.

Dün gece Güney Kıbrıs’ın Limasol kentinde gerçekleştirilen 6. Junior Eurovision Şarkı Yarışmasını 154 puanla Bzikebi‘nin seslendirdiği “Bzz…” adlı şarkıyla Gürcistan kazandı.
Yarışmayı Ukrayna’dan Victoria Petryk 135 puanla 2.sırada ve Litvanya’dan Eglė Jurgaitytė 103 puanla 3.lük ile bitirdiler.
Eurovision Başkanı Svante Stockselius yarışmanın birincisi gürcistanı ve diğer bütün adayları gerçekleştirdikleri muhteşem performanslardan dolayı tebrik etti.
Yarışmayı canlı olarak yayınlamayı geciktiren Ukrayna ve Avusturalya’nın aksine izleyiciler yarışmayı canlı olarak www.junioreurovision.tv’den izleyebildiler.

Paris calling! After hearing Dima on NRJ Morning Radio, Sebastien Cauet’s radio show and Morandini’s programme Le Grand Direct, this year’s Eurovision Song Contest winner will appear on the Canal+ television show Le Grand Journal.
Tonight’s television show is one of France’s most popular and ‘cool’ television programmes. Le Grand Journal can be watched live on Canal+ tonight at 19:10.
Right after the show, Dima Bilan and his entourage will fly off to San Marino, for the final stop of the 2008 Winner’s Tour.

 
Yesterday, the 2008 Winner’s Tour with Dima Bilan travelled to Belgium, where two giant limousines were waiting for the Russian pop star and his entourage at the airport of Kortrijk.
The delegation left London at around 8:00 in the morning, to arrive at the small airport of Kortrijk about an hour later. Initially, the Winner’s Tour was set to arrive in Belgium through the airport of Oostende, but the runway was closed for maintenance.
