Moskova’da Mayıs ayında yapılacak 54. Eurovision Şarkı Yarışmasında Türkiye’yi temsil edecek Hadise, PBS televizyonunun  davetlisi olarak Malta’ya geldi. PBS held a press conference this afternoon / evening to discuss certain details regarding the National Final to take place on the 7th February at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali. It was previously announced that during the night there will be 100% Voting from a Judging Panel who will choose three finalists who will take compete against each other in a Super-Final in which the results will be chosen by 100% Tele-Voting.

One of the entries in the upcoming Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will be sung by Danish-Icelandic singer Hera Björk. Hera Björk is a big star in her original home country Iceland and has previously tried her luck in the Icelandic preselection, and was one of the backing singers who joined Eurobandid on stage in the 2008 Eurovision in Belgrade. Hera, living in Copenhagen, will now perform the entry “Someday” in the Danish national final 2009, to be aired on January the 31st.

Bulgaria is opening the national finals season of 2009 right now with their first quarterfinal.

The show will last for 55 minutes and five songs will be presented:

In tonight’s show, two songs will drop out. The jury will choose one qualifier, and the televoting will choose another two.
