The introduction of professional juries has not helped Belgium and the Netherlands reaching a top 10 position in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008. The sixth edition of the festival was won by Bzikebi, singing bees from Georgia, with the song Bzzz. Ukraine finished second. Lithuania came third.
