Hadise comfortably leading first semifinal poll
The first semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 takes place in Moscow in exactly four weeks. 67% of the visitors of Belgovision.com believe that Hadise will qualify for the final, according to the current results of our poll. Only 22% of our visitors believe in a Belgian qualification for the final.

The brand new single of the 2005 Greek Eurovision representative and winner of that year’s edition of the contest, Helena Paparizou, is available to listen to online. The song, called Tha ‘mai alliós, which means ‘I’ll be different’, is composed by DonK and penned by Eleana Vrahali.
Helena Paparizou became, back in 2005, the first ever winner of the Eurovision Song Contest for Greece with the song My number one. She had already represented the Hellenic nation in 2001, as part of the duo Antique, singing Die for you.

Today, we have known that this year’s Ukrainian performance at the Eurovision Song Contest will feature a so-called “Hell Machine”, a mobile device depicting the shape of a cog with several lamps in the frontal side. Svetlana Loboda will appear inside the wheel.
This massive cog will go down from the ceiling, and will describe at least two movements: rotation and descent. Habertürk’te ekrana gelen Oylum Talu’nun sunduğu “Burası Haftasonu” programına konuk olan şarkıcı Murat Boz, iki yıl önce kendisine Eurovision’da Türkiye’yi temsil etme teklifi geldiğini ancak kabul etmediğini belirtti.
Kabul etmeme nedenini Eurovision’da müziğin değil siyasetin etkili olduğunu anlatan Murat Boz, örnek olarak da Kenan Doğulu’nun katıldığı sene birinci olması gerekirken, dördüncü olmasını gösterdi. Bunun kendisinde hayal kırıklığı yarattığına değinen Boz, “O gün karar verdim, dedim ki, ‘Evet, bu platform gerçekten siyasi bir platform. The United Kingdom will be represented by Jade Ewen and her song My time in Moscow in May for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. The song written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren has been remastered and was premiered on BBC Radio 2.
